Mic Travers is a singer, songwriter and veteran entertainer. He performs at many festivals and events and has been a finalist in the National Song Writing Contest. He teaches and hosts regular jam sessions and local song writing workshops and performances. Mic performs over 200 shows a year and has over twenty years experience performing traditional and contemporary music to all age spectrums and throughout Australia. Mic has self produced four albums and appeared on various compilation CDs all of which receive sustained airplay on radio stations around the country. He has also published a book complete with CD recordings of traditional Australian folk songs together with some of his own songs written in the genre. Having lived and worked in many parts of remote and regional Australia, Mic is regularly invited to play for the “weddings, parties and anythings” of his many friends and supporters around the country.
